The primeTOUCH no-Y is a smart solution for installations that need to work without vertical sensors.
The very powerful primeTOUCH technology makes it possible to remove those vertical sensor bars. The remaining horizontal sensors need to be slightly larger than the actual interactive area. Both sensor bars are connected by a thin cable that is easily concealed. Even video walls set at an angle can be configured interactively with this solution. The most spectacular primeTOUCH variation is the primeTOUCH curved. Interactive surfaces with a curvature radius of 2,5m at a minimum are possible. This makes the primeTOUCH curved system unique.
In many points the primeTOUCH curved specifications are equivalent to those of the classic primeTOUCH system. Some deviant specifications can be found below. We are happy to advise you should there be any questions.

FAQ
What is the difference of primeTOUCH customised, No-Y and curved?
The primeTOUCH customised is by default a rectangular frame made of aluminium profiles. In those profiles we mount PCBs that either consist IR light emitting diodes (Emitter) or IR light receiving photo diodes (Receiver). Usually, emitter are on the bottom and on the right side, receiver are on the top and on the left side. No-Y System is the next step in evolution where we remove the vertical segments of a frame and only need electronic on bottom and top side of the screen. Still we can detect X and Y coordinates of multiple inputs. For the very unique system primeTOUCH curved, we manufacture a frame that is curved in the desired radius of the customer. Those systems also do only have electronic on top and bottom.
How wide can my Touch Video Wall be?
We calculate the size in diagonal inch, so that the width and the height can vary according to the sizes of the products. With a diagonal inch of up to 500, we care cover very large screen sizes.
What can I do if the maximum width of one system is not sufficient?
We can combine multiple systems, so there is basically no limit in the end.
Am I completely flexible in size?
You can adjust the size of your touch overlay in 5,4mm steps.
Are portrait as well as landscape orientation or the screens possible?
Yes, the orientation of the screen does not affect the primeTOUCH function.
How many touchpoints can I have?
You can choose from a variety of number, but to simplify, we have decided on some standard touch point options. 6, 12, 32 or more than 50. But can customise the customisation so, just let us know what you need.
How complicated is the installation of primeTOUCH?
Since we only sell directly to professional AV reseller / system integrators, the installation should not be very challenging. For a specialist, equipped with the tips we give him, along with a good planning and a precise integration, this should not be a problem.
What is the size of the aluminium profile storing the electronic?
Standard dimension is 46mm wide and 14mm thickness of the profile. For screen sizes smaller 100’’ we can offer slime profiles with a smaller footprint.
How close to the video wall do I need to install the primeTOUCH frame?
Basically, as close as possible, but not too close so that potential irregularities may interfere with the touch frame.
Do I need a protection glass for my display?
That depends on the installation and the application. As a general rule, protection glass is a good and by us recommended option to protect your equipment. Best results can be achieved with antireflective glass.
What If I don’t/can’t have protective glass?
There is a good alternative if you do not want to use protective glass but still want protection for video walls. We offer anti-reflective protection foil that we laminate on your displays in our clean room, a special space where we eliminate all visible particles.
What USB Extender do you recommend?
So far we have good experience with ICRON USB extender.
