We work all over the world. We can either send your goods with known carriers or have them ready for collection. Of course, we provide the necessary export accompanying documents for non-EU countries.

How is infrared touch different from capacitive touch technology?

The capacitive touch technology, also known as PCAP, is based on a transparent sensor that is located behind a glass panel. Touches of the glass pane are registered by a controller and converted into two-dimensional data that leads to the determination of the touch position. Infrared technology for short IR, is based on infrared diodes that communicate with each other above the display surface and create a network of connections. When the display surface is touched, these connections are interrupted, which leads to the determination of the touch position. Both touch technologies are very precise and fast. With PCAP you don't need an overlay, with IR you do. PCAP is ideal for bright rooms or those with strong light fluctuations, IR only in the IR Protect version. IR can cover very large areas, with PCAP the size is limited to approx. 100 ". Since the two technologies hardly differ in terms of performance, it is important to find out which is best suited for your project.
